Brentwood will be closed Thanksgiving Day. Golf on the day after Thanksgiv-ing, Friday, Nov. 25, will be at holiday rates for non-members. Bring your holiday guests to play; still a bargain!

As the historic drought continues, the golf course remains in great shape. The greens have been the most consistent in years, very smooth and good speed.

If the weather gurus are correct, this winter will be the first in recent years to enjoy some golf. Mild temperatures and less than normal precipitation are predicted.

The Rabalais Cup (former Ryder Cup) results will be posted in the December newsletter. As of print time we have a solid field signed up and look to have some great matches and good camaraderie. Good luck to club champ Rob Long.

The Brentwood Ladies Golf Association has begun to wrap up the season, but with still a lot of excitement in play as we continue to compete as a team or individually at the different clubs in the area.
